Timber Tracker set for March release

Scott Reigel, Co-Owner of Clear Creek Forestry, a consulting forestry firm located in Lewisburg, WV has announced the pending release of the TimberTracker software system for the Forest Industry.  This software is "easier to use and faster than anything on the market", according to Mr. Reigel.  During the design stages, great focus was given to effectiveness, efficiency and ease of operation.  Mr. Reigel’s goal for the project was to develop an effective forest industry application that meets the industry’s needs, as well as bring a new easy and intuitive design that has not before been available for the end user.  The application uses Pocket PC .net technology to provide users with options to be used as a desktop only, desktop and mobile device, and mobile device web application.  The web capability allows foresters, who are away from the office, to upload their data to a web server for retrieval by the home office thus providing a more efficient and effective internal business communication system.  Once all foresters' data is received, a full report can be created in minutes.  This software provides a total solution for the industry due to the many dynamic databases and completenes of the user interface.  The robust functionality and ease of use will allow any level of computer user to successfully use this tool.

Mr. Reigel also considers the speed in which an inventory can be taken as "phenomenal". The real time volume and appraisal values with allow users to have instantaneous results that will beat their competition to the seller’s door.  The programming, designed and developed by Uplynx Technologies, for the mobile device is so unique that a patent request has been submitted.  The exact nature of this programming will be released at a later date.

After over a year and a half of planning, design, and programming the team is excited to announce the program's release date planned for July, 2005.  The cost of the program has yet to be established.  You can find out more information regarding Clear Creek Forestry's executive staff at www.clearcreekforestry.com.A separate  Timber Tracker web site is currently being developed.  Feel free to contact Uplynx Technologies or Mr. Reigel with any further questions you might have regarding this industry changing software solution.
